[30-day writing challenge] Day-10: The best friend

 Hi, hello again. After some in-depth thoughts, I also don't have time to write at this space regularly at all, LMAO. 

So we are moving on to the day-10...

It's about best friend... Well, actually I don't have really much of what-so-called best friend. But once you are considered as best friend to me, I'm so fucking loyal to you like a hound. Yes, I'm so attached to the strings etc. Talking about best friend we are going...

Funnily, as a guy, I don't have much guy friends. My closest friend composition is more like 70% ladies and 30% gents. Most of the gents, are playing same games as me or working at the same line, meanwhile the ladies are sporadically all-over the verticals. Usually, the gents are more like playing partners, meanwhile the ladies more to the in-depth talks. Well, you know, guys usually don't share feelings though from time to time it has been proven otherwise.

Related to astrology, whether you or I believe it or not, is fascinating indeed. Most of my closest friends are fellow water sign, whether it's Scorpio, Cancer, or Pisces. The ring 1, of course consist of that 3 with me as the Scorpio. I don't know why I don't get along with people from other sun-sign. Weird, indeed, Barnum's effect, probably, but it's real. My another ring 1 friend is a Virgo, which people say that the 'almost-perfect' match to a Scorpio (yes, according to Astrology studies, the perfect match for Scorpio is another Scorpio because we are a fucking narcissistic and perfectionist, true story). All of them are ladies, so I think it's make sense in common courtesy that most of the ladies believe in astrology, but my guy friend also more or less on the same sign. The closest 1 to me is a Virgo, the one usually I talk about life is a Virgo, and the work guy is a Taurus. Well, if they say water sign compatible to earth sign, I will say probably yes based on my case. The only exception is my go-to-ladies which consist of a Scorpio (and we are a little bit closer than the other) and an Aries.

For me, best friend is place where I told them almost everything. Even the thing that I don't tell to my partner/spouse. So that's why I value my best friends so damn much, although on contrary, I'm a very low treatment person. Means, I don't call them everyday and I don't need them to contact me everyday. Even if they come only when they need, it's fine by me because I did that too 😬. I think this is also a reason why my friends circle is so smol lel.

Some general opinion that man-woman bestfriendship is impossible, because one of them would be holding feelings. Hmmm, that's probably not all true, I do not think my bestfriendship is platonic, because I still see my ladies friend as a women as they are. But I've build up my defense on feelings (I called them 'the Defense Against the Dark Arts, for real) so I would not go over more than what I have now. Though, in the past when I was younger, I was catched on complex situation where I fall and insist for one of my best friend, and after very-very long time grow apart, we back on one time and we are back as best friendship. Even we joke around that situation and no offense, both me or her. Surely, when a Scorpio falls in love, it falls so deep that even they probably won't go out from it, HAHAHAHA. But, I've maintained this best friendship without me catching on a feeling (probably until recently...), I don't know with them but probably not, I guess.

I like my friends and I love my best friend like crazy. They're part of who I am today, there's no me writing in proper English without some of them taught me how to 😂. As a learner, I learnt a lot from them and will continue to learn. Whether it's hard skills or soft skills, because I know my friends have values on their own and might be needed by me sometime in the future. Love you guys.
